Here are the results of a recent survey used as a contest on our site.

Survey Type: Multiple Choice

1.  Do you use a water purification system in the home?

• 54% said no
• 40% indicated they use a counter-top unit
• 1% Use a tap installed system (e.g. Faucet Filter)
• 5% use an under the sink system

2.  How safe in your opinion is tap water for drinking or cooking?

• 53% felt tap water was safe for cooking and drinking
• 26% indicated it was safe for  cooking but not drinking
• 20% felt it was not Safe at all
• 1% had not given much thought to the issue

3.  How safe in your opinion is municipally tested water?

• 72% felt it was moderately safe
• 22% indicated it was very safe
• 7% felt it was not safe at all

I’ve been blogging since late 2005…and you think I’d know a little bit about blogging. Well not enough, I’ve made some good moves since I started like moving to WordPress from Mambo which is really a conent management system that my hosting service at the time faked with some add-ins to make it look like a blogging tool. But using one of the best open-source blogging tools just isn’t enough, it doesn’t address the traffic issue automatically…you have to work at building a community.

I just accidentally bumped into a brilliant idea on christyscoffeebreak which led me betshopboy who led me to the originator of the idea…doshdosh. So what is this idea? Well follow these links and you will learn how to increase traffic by becoming a part of the blogging community. Simple!
