Website Redesign
Since I got back from my trip to Africa early January, I’ve been working hard to launch the marketplace. I knew I was moving too fast, when I fell down the stairs and strained my ankle. The Universe was definitely sending a message!
So just before officially launching the marketplace, I decided to engage a marketing coach, Suzanne Falter-Barnes. Well the timing was right. Things need to be simplified for the site visitor to create a better experience is Suzanne’s main feedback. I felt a bit disappointed at first, since I’ve invested a lot of time and not to mention $$s to get to where I am. But if a change has to happen, there is no better time than now. So after some thought, I’ve decided to redesign the logo and website to create a better experience for my visitors. Speaking of which, I shouldn’t be surprised but its nice to see people from all different parts of the world visiting…I guess that’s why its called the World Wide Web (WWW).
I will be migrating to a different Blog tool that will allow simpler interaction with visitors. With a refreshed website and the launch of the marketplace, I hope to drive higher traffic to sustain the business. While progress is not as fast as I would like it to be, I believe there is some merit in taking things slowly. Stay tuned!
